Verona's contract was temporarily suspended by the Wings Saturday.
Verona is signed to a developmental contract, so she has only appeared in one regular-season game for Dallas during the 2026 campaign. She will now head overseas, where she will suit up for the Italian National Team for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup.
