Cechova (knee) was diagnosed with a torn ACL in her right knee and will undergo surgery, Meghan L. Hall of USA Today reports. She will miss the remainder of the season.
Cechova suffered a non-contact injury during Thursday's 90-86 win over Dallas and required assistance off the floor. After undergoing an MRI, she was diagnosed with a torn ACL, ending her season. The 21-year-old rookie appeared in three games, and she will finish the 2026 campaign by averaging 8.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.3 steals and 0.7 blocks across 17.3 minutes. With Cechova sidelined, Anastasiia Kosu could be first in line to see more action.
