Lively (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's exhibition against the Hawks.
Lively, who is recovering from foot surgery he underwent back in December, will wind up missing all four of Dallas' preseason games. Given that there hasn't been any reporting of Lively ramping up his workload, it seems there's a real chance he won't be ready for the start of the 2026-27 season.
